On April 5th 2017, the Crédit Agricole officially launched the new version of its application « Ma Carte ». It allows, among other things, the Crédit Agricole customers to pay in-store via the NFC function of their Android Smartphone. Thanks to the « Paylib sans contact » solution, they just need to place their smartphone on the POS terminal to pay for purchases. This solution is not subject to the contactless card amount limitation of 20€, and therefore it allows customers to spend higher amounts securely.

The « Ma Carte » app can also be used at checkout for online purchases, on websites accepting Paylib.

In order to offer this new payment method to its users, Crédit Agricole Payment Services (CAPS), the payment producer for the Crédit Agricole Group, chose dejamobile’s ReadyToTap™ Payment. Following a series of test phases in its payment lab, CAPS chose this solution, which gives an ergonomic and innovative customer experience, and is protected by the highest security standards.

Based on Host Card Emulation (HCE) technology, this solution ensures security of payment transactions thanks to the process of tokenisation. ReadyToTap™ Payment is currently compliant with Mastercard and Visa specifications, and will soon be with those of CB. It is also equipped with the most advanced software security technologies for Smartphone.
