Mohamed Sabt, Dejamobile’s Research Engineer, won UTC award for thesis on Smartphone security.

mohamedFor his thesis dedicated to Smartphone security for sensitive applications, such as payment apps, realised while he was under Cifre contract at Orange, dejamobile’s Research Engineer Mohamed Sabt has won the Guy Deniélou thesis award given by the University of Technology of Compiègne (UTC). This thesis unlocks new securing methods for mobile applications, proposing a new methodology based on a state-of-the-art system of cryptography.

Created in 2006 as a tribute to UTC’s first president, the Guy Deniéliou the prize recognizes the quality of technological research, and has the ambition to “show the original interdisciplinary aspect of the UTC doctoral school and the scientific excellency of its PhDs”.

It is thanks to the expertise of its R&D team, with people like Mohamed, that dejamobile is able to offer payment solutions to its customers with the highest security standards.
