Missions

We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiast co-worker to join our sales team and help us strengthen our leading position in digital payment solutions.

Based in our Sao Paolo office and / or working from home, you will report to our Business Development Manager located in France (Paris). Your main missions will be to chase new business opportunities in Brazil, win new customers and recruit new partners. To achieve your objectives, you shall master commercial prospection techniques and tools and build close relationships with clients (Banks, Processors, Fintechs, Wallet Service Providers and PSPs) and the payment ecosystem in general.

As the “first person on the ground” for Dejamobile in Brazil, you will play a central role in Customer relationship management all along the lifecycle, including delivery of the service. You will be the person representing the Company locally, backed by the Dejamobile team in France.

You will be hosted by Market Pay Brazil in Sao Paolo and will benefit from the logistical and business support of this local team. Being the “first person on the ground” for Dejamobile in Brazil does not mean that you will feel isolated!

We are expecting you to be fluent both in Portuguese and English.

Profile & Skills

We value different profiles for this position

  • A Master’s degree in Engineeering, management, economics or equivalent with experience in business development. We also value consultant type profiles with a proven track record in payment projects, as a pre-sales engineer or project manager, customer-focused and aiming to succeed in a sales position.
  • Leadership skills, business drive and acumen
  • Experience in the payment ecosystem is a plus
  • We are expecting you to be fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English

 

 

Main activities

Interested? Good! You will therefore have the following responsibilities:

  • Generate leads and follow up sales opportunities (long cycle).
  • Identify and cold call potential prospects and develop relationships.
  • Qualify the needs of prospects and sell solutions accordingly.
  • Organize meetings with prospects and give product demonstrations.
  • Follow up on inbound requests coming from our website or any other channel.
  • Work closely with other teams to develop new opportunities.
  • Monitor your market, identify potential target customers, share feedback on the competition.
  • Participate in industry events
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with the rules and guidelines established by laws and regulations of the industry.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients
