After adding the acceptance of Tips to ReadyToTap Payment for Merchants Software POS application, dejamobile is adding a new feature enabling to support pre-authorization transactions.

What does the support of pre-authorizations mean? ReadyToTap application enables to initiate a pre-authotization that can be processed in just a tap against the smartphone or tablet of the Merchant, thanks to NFC and contactless technologies. Releasing the funds or charge a specific amount can also be done through the app, with the ability to send the receipts to the customers via email, QR code scan or SMS. The Merchant will also have the possibility to enter an external order reference to link to the pre-authorization transaction and to be able to search the pre-authorization using this reference.

“By using the ReadyToTap app in combination with softPOS technology, managing pre-authorizations becomes more flexible,” CMO and product manager Gaelle René-Corail comments. “The initiation of pre-authorization can be processed in just a tap against the smartphone or tablet of the merchant. No need to take a photo or write down the card details of the customer. Releasing the funds is also very easy in just a click in the dedicated menu from the app. The objective of Dejamobile’s SoftPOS product is to welcome core payment features to get closer to what a traditional payment terminal can do today. The SoftPOS technology is still quite young and at innovation stage, however we believe that this type of payment acceptance solution will be massively adopted in the next coming years.”

Dejamobile’s ReadyToTap Payment for Merchants solution is available as a standalone white-label softPOS application and can also be integrated into a merchant’s existing cash register system. The solution is certified by major schemes and organisations including PCI SSC, Mastercard, Visa, Discover and Cartes Bancaires and is already used by dozens of acquirers and merchant service providers in Europe and Latin America.
