Stocard, the mobile wallet European leader that offers to store loyalty cards in its application, has reached the 50 million users and is launching its mobile payment service. With already 5 million users in France, Stocard intends to roll out its mobile payment service in France by the end of the year.
In the UK, users can already pay with their smartphone from the application by activating the mobile payment functionality and creating their own virtual Mastercard card. This digitised payment service is based on Dejamobile’s ReadyToTap Payment solution, which makes it possible to create a digital Mastercard card directly in the Android Stocard application and also from the Apple Pay wallet for iPhone users.
With this new mobile payment functionality, Stocard continues to transform in-store shopping by bringing together the loyalty programs of over 5,000 retailers, coupons and payment, all in one single application.
